A rounded table lamp drawn from the curves of a nyungu, the clay cooking pot. The ribbed shade spreads light evenly, so it reads as a soft glow rather than a bare bulb. Good by the bed, on a sideboard, or anywhere you want the room to slow down.

A giraffe lowering its neck to drink, turned into a lamp. A long hardwood neck bends over the table on three slim legs, finished with hand-glazed ceramic feet and a pleated shade that throws a warm pool of light.
Sold out — the next batch is made to order
Each lamp starts as a digital model in our Nairobi studio, then goes to people who work with their hands. We make them in small batches, so every one gets looked over before it leaves.
Printed layer by layer in white PLA. The fine ribs and pleats diffuse the bulb so the light falls soft, never glaring.
Hardwood shaped and finished by a carpenter in Nairobi. No two grains match, so no two lamps quite do either.
Small ceramic details are glazed and finished by hand, a quiet contrast to the warm wood and the printed shade.
